Register for this Class

Welding: (ages 18 & up). A registered parent or guardian must accompany participants under the age of 18.                                                                                                                                      

This is a welding class where you will be introduced to the basics of SMAW (Stick) welding, GMAW (MIG) welding, GTAW (TIG) welding, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, and basic CNC design. Each session will include basic information, a demonstration of the process, and individual process practice. Materials will be provided for the practice portion of each process.  PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) will NOW be included to borrow each session, including leather welding gloves, safety glasses, pliers, and protective welding jackets. If you want to get your own PPE, you must bring it to each session. After the initial introductory process, demonstrations, and practice, time will be allotted for you to work on individual projects of your design and choosing. Individual project materials for the class will not be provided. Shaun Black is the instructor for this 8-week class.
